London Day One

Woke up... eightish, i think, shower, go back to bed-
sae comes in wakes us up a bit closer to noon/one (i think)
Watch the news,do some laundry....
Laundry is done.
Hang the laundry out to dry.
pack a bit to go to the train station (leaves for london from cardiff at 3:55)

IT IS RAINING. QUICK, BRING IN THE LAUNDRY.

RUN.
DE LAUNDRY THE LINE.
ARGH.

Finish packing (including some wet clothes)
borrow one of Sae's Hoodies because mine WILL NEVER DRY IN TIME (damn you sweatshirt material)

Get into the car.
leave.

ARGH CARDIFF WHY MUST YOU BE CONSTRUCTING AND TRAFFICKING

impossible to park in train station.
WE DO IT ANYWAY.
wait for train.
got to learn how to enter a proper platform, too, which was fun.

Long Train is Long

we're in compartment A, the "quiet" compartment.
Silence KILLS MY BRAIN.

cannot find DS.
ARGH

After things loosen up a bit, Kriz and I go back to the food compartment.

i find my DS (in my pocket, duhr)

we.. really like the Cafe lady. She's frikkin AWeSOME.
Five or so pounds later, we go back to our compartment with our foods.

including a MARS BAR. FUCK YES.
MARS BAR.

train train train to london....
Didn't take any pictures of the station because anyone who has ever seen any movie with london in it (harry potter, for instance) has seen the london station/london underground.

didn't see any sheep until we got out of Wales, i think.
O-o wtf. Wales is supposed to have the MOST SHEEP.

um... london station, crowded. purchase tickets. nobody gets pickpocketed.
Get into the underground, fall into a person sitting next to me because i suck at sitting down.
train train train train...

walk walk walk walk.

we got lost.
we took a left when getting to our travelodge when we should have just gone straight.
AMAZING.
Sae asks for directions, we check in-
we get ONE key card..... which is alright because.. it's not like we'll be seperating much.

but FUCK it's hot in here. we think we've found the AC but it doesn't appear to be cooling anything, soinstead we've got the window open as much as we're able and have otherwise stripped down as much as possible.

uhhh... hour or so later, FOOD.
mickey Ds two doors down to our left (or right).... Mickey Ds is still Mickey Ds. can't get an order right to save their lives ;3
